Not last weekend but the weekend before Pete and I did a little car camping. We went up to explore Olympic National Park. 
We had a wonderful time. We stopped off at a few beaches where I marveled at all the pretty rocks while Pete skipped them in the rivers headed to the ocean. He tried to teach me how to skip a rock but I failed miserably. 
At one of the beaches we discovered this pile of starfish. If I was a starfish I would want to be Orange.
We also saw 2 bald eagles while we were at the beaches. I thought that was pretty rad. In addition to visiting the beach we took a trip to the rain forest and also to a few waterfalls. 
Next time we go to visit Olympic National Park we want to do the 17 mile coastal hike between the Hoh River and La Push. Anyone want to come with us?
