I just finished up my 10 week Preceptorship which was my 7th and 8th rotations. Time is flying by. I worked at a family practice clinic in Independence Oregon with Dr. White. I learned a lot of things and by the last week I felt like I could have probably treated 3/4 of the patients I saw on my own (mostly because they all had the common cold and didn't need to be treated). Dr. White offered me a job if I wanted to stick around. Unfortunately, Independence is a little too far away from Portland and Pete for me. But getting a job offer made me feel like I must be doing something right, so that is good :) Now just 2 rotations left. Both of which I will be stationed in Bend Oregon for, which will be nice because it is close to Smith Rock so I think Pete will visit often.
