Oveson Family Reunion

I just can't help myself...I have to call it a Family Reunion...mostly because Pete is so adamant that it isn't one. When we first started talking about a family vacation to the coast I told him that his sister Polly had called me and wanted my help designing the 2010 Oveson Family Reunion T-Shirt. It was the closest to distraught I have ever seen Pete. Well, regardless of what you call it...Family Reunion or Family Vacation...we had a great time.

We rented a house in Manzanita towards the end of August. It was a great house. It had a great view of the coast and on the balcony there was a hot tub where you could sit and look at the stars as the waves crashed on the beach below. The coast was gorgeous and the weather was great! (too hot for some, perfect for me)

We had a lot of fun hanging out with Pete's Parents, Polly, Ben, Matt & Libby, and all of our nieces and nephews.

Pete and Ben went surfing pretty much every chance they got. Pete keeps trying to convince me that I should learn to surf but I say that the Oregon coastal water is just to dang cold so I will just remain content soaking up the sun rays on the beach.
