Saturday morning I made some Hot Chocolate and Pete packed a lunch and we headed to Mount Hood for our Christmas Tree finding adventure.
Finding a small Christmas Tree to fit our apartment was a lot harder then we had anticipated but eventually we found one we liked.
I thought it was probably still too big (things always look smaller than they really are when you're outside) so I insisted we look a little longer. After looking a little longer we found...nothing, so we went back and cut down the first one that we liked.
Pete was a good sport and hauled the tree up a huge hill back to our car. Now I know why everyone else hiked up hill first to find their tree :)
When we got it home we quickly realized that our tree was in fact too tall and too wide so Pete quickly cut off TOO much and now it is far too short and disproportionately wide but we like it anyway.
