Well I must admit I never really imagined that I would be without a job for over 6 months...but sure enough here I am at 6 months 3 weeks post graduation and I am still unemployed. During my unemployment I have had some highs and some lows but thanks to my very supportive husband things really haven't been too bad. Pete works hard to keep the bills paid and to support my sanity. With all my free time we quickly discovered that a busy me is a happy me and that the alternative is not quite as fun. So I have managed to keep busy by taking a photography class and a pottery class. In my pottery class I decided to make a colander...
and a sieve...
and a strainer...

I also made another colander, seive, and strainer, plus some other random things. I really enjoyed my pottery class and think that one day I will need to have a pottery wheel of my own (although I didn't really ever use a pottery wheel in my pottery class....long story).

It has been a long time since Biochem study days at USU!
Your pottery looks amazing! Only if I were talented....!
Cute! Way to go Sandy!!
That's so funny that you poked holes in everything you made. I like the colors of the sieve. You're quite talented!
Ah, so THAT'S what a pottery colander looks like. They're really beautiful! Way to be crafty. :)
Pottery is such an awesome talent and I'm jealous. I love your colanders.
